This is how to install Jade on an Amiga.
1. Unpack the file `jade-amiga.lha' into the directory in which you
want Jade to live (it will create its own directory `jade' in here).
Then make an assignment `JADE:' to its main directory, for example
if you unpacked it in `DH0:' then `JADE:' should be `DH0:jade'
2. Get the `jade' and `jadeclient' executables into your path. There are
two ways of doing this, either copy the `jade' file into a directory
which is already in your path, or add the `jade' directory to your path
list. Note these programs are pure and should have their `p' bit set.
Jade needs a lot of stack, about 20K should do normally, but if you
want to use the Lisp compiler 50K should be enough.
If you want to take advantage of Jade's ability to display Info-formatted
files use the `INFO:' assignment to point to the directory holding the
Info tree.
That's it. Note that you only get the bare necessities in the `jade-amiga.lha'
file, all source (C, Lisp and Texinfo) is in the `jade.lha' or `jade.tar.gz'
archives.
